Had one of the worst day of my life. Working life sucks-and this is only the 2nd day of my intern. The company is totally smoking me and my friend throughout. First, they tell us working hours is from 0730 to 1630. I was pretty satisfied with such arrangements at first, but then they tell us the site is at jurong island...okay...so be it. Next, they tell us on our first day that we need to undergo safety training course-which was today. It was a full 8 hour lecture, with 2 tests!!! and the best part-its not even 20% related to our job. Hello...we work in offices, not at construction site as construction workers. I dont see the need to brief us on safety harnesses, heat stroke, fall from heights...blah blah... Besides, such common sense we've got, and some of the points were even covered in school.

Those doing HR in the future, please do not follow my company's footsteps. They totally treat us like as if we've worked there for 10 years and know the procedures. No one tell us nothing about anything! I miss DLS...totally. How i wish i could work there in the future =( Now, i've got to wake up at 0530, and still, reach home at 0630. This is so irritating!! To you all out there...dont be like me...better ask every single thing before you sign any contract. And never allow company to smoke you through things =(
