Sunday-5.17pm.

I'm typing this out as i await the loading of "forensic heros II" on the website, just taken my bath, on my chair, on this beautiful sunday. Had a sleepover at weisiew's place to catch up with them as well as to make up for the chalet trip we failed to organise. Dinner on saturday was steamboat with lots of ingredients! I really love to dine at her place as her mom sure knows how to feed us well. I can still remember the sumptous new year's meal i had at her place earlier this year-it was totally delicious! Chocolate fondue was our dessert as weeling arrived at the place, and while they started watching a korean comedy movie, i couldnt help but to fall asleep on the couch as i was really tired out and my eyelids just couldnt stay open, but after brushing our teeths and preparing to go to bed, weeling and i started chatting through the night, and it was a really good feeling to talk to her, and to know more about their lives this past months. Time really does fly past so quickly that we all have been through quite a bit after we left ntss. Though we rarely meet up (say, the most twice a year?), but i'm really glad that we can still sit down together and talk non-stop without feeling the akwardness and despite us being more mature, our personalities and character are more or less remaining the same.

Yihui...how are you?! You dont sound good when i called you to ask about which vcd i should get yesterday. Hope you are all well and fine over there.

Woeilin...hows it going on... =p! Ending your work soon huh? You are so lucky...enjoy your lovely holidays and get me presents if you are going to batam!

Xinyi...dear ah bond! Your singing is improving everytime we meet up for k-box! You go girl!

Aiping...ping ping pong pong...although you probably will nv read my entries, but i do miss you!!! Dont octracise us!!! You have been in US for quite some time and we havent really heard from you at all you know? People here misses you....dont you agree guys? We await your return (and remember our presents!)

Weijie...you have way too many committments...you shld prioritise your studies for now ok? Dont let your project mates hate you too much.haha... =) work, cca and relationships can come after. Thats my loyal advice. Take care of your own health also. There are medical reports saying that sleeping too late and waking up late is not good for the liver, and do take care of your leg injuries too ok?

Lance...wei wei wei...where have you been?! okok...its only been a week since i last met and talked to you. I want to take up piano and visit the dentist!!! You should know that long ago...but my fear is pulling me back..and please do force me into it ok?

Wen Haw...life's going on fine there is it? hope school is not tearing you apart with tests and all the early lessons. Ants are appearing out of my laptop!!! I dont know why, but i really do wish that they are gone from my room.

Avril Lavigne-
Keep Holding On

You're not alone
Together we stand
I'll be by your side
You know I'll take your hand
When it gets cold
And it feels like the end
There's no place to go
You know I won't give in
No I won't give in

*chrous*
Keep holdin' on
'Cause you know we'll make it through
We'll make it through
Just, stay strong
'Cause you know I'm here for you
I'm here for you
There's nothing you can say
Nothing you can do
There's no other way
when it comes to the truth
So, keep holding on
'Cause you know we'll make it through
We'll make it through

So far away
I wish you were here
Before it's too late
This could all disappear

Before the doors close
And it comes to an end
With you by my side
I will fight and defend
I'll fight and defend,
Yeah yeah
*chrous*

Hear me when I say
When I say I believe
Nothing's gonna change
Nothing's gonna change destiny
Whatever's meant to be
Will work out perfectly

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah..
La da da da, la da da da da
La da da da da da da da da
*chrous*

i miss you-dearly.

Friday-20th june. It was pretty good day at work today, everyone seemed to be in a good mood (probably its friday and tmr is a weekend!) Got a treat of coffee bean mocha ice blended by my colleague, and to tell the truth, i didnt really want to drink it up as i know that it will further deteriorate my sore throat, but it was a nice gesture from a fellow work mate, so...health was placed 2nd. Met up with shiying, joyce and woeilin for dinner...wasnt really happy with all the arrangements blahs blahs...i guess the four of us knows why. Anyways, we went to "xin wang hk cafe" for dinner =) and went for an impromtu midnight movie at tiong bahru plaza-sex and the city. I feel that it was a good movie-actresses's acting was good, script was good, and all the branded stuff in the movie was definitely good if they belong to me!

Saturday-21st June, sunny. Yawns, woke up at 10.30am,feeling sleepy but yet looking forward to seeing my beloved friends later for tennis and badminton. Drop my mom off at the bus stop on the way to lance's place and thanks for "on the house" strepsils!

Tennis was their game. Joyce was already at the tennis court when lance and i arrived. Parking was not easy as i had to do 1001 pt turn while two vehicles were waiting for me to finish off my turns. Arghhh...stressful. Anyways, i applied suntan lotion and just sat under the sun, watching them play with my cap on and a bible on my hand (as i forgot to bring a book along). It felt great to just relax, lying my legs on a chair and waving frantically saying "hello" to the friends who came onto the court one after another. Its enjoyment of life...its something worth waiting and slogging my hearts out at work for.

The badminton game was excellent! Fun, sport, laughter was everywhere. I love my life! How i wish we could spend all our days like that...like back in first 3 months...oh well, moving on, i'm glad that we've walked the years together, be there for each other through the best years of our lives. =)

Saturday-Went to meet kent and cheng for dinner at suntec. Was really really tired and took a nap before i went out to look for them...missing the trip to IT fair (which was a blessing in disguise as there are way too many people! ) The two mascots guided me through the busy crowds and finally we found a place to have dinner-carls junior! (someone's fave, and you cant have it!awwww..... =p)

Burgers attack!!

My face looks really small with theirs!

Finally, its the 05S19 girls outing!!! Although i've been real tired out from work and all the going out after work, when i met up with the girls, all the pain and stress went away. =) Really havent met them for a long time already, made me miss my jc life even more, uni life is just miserable without them supporting me through all the ups and downs. We went around bugis street shopping, looking for a blazer to wear in office, but couldnt find one.
Anyways, we took neoprints, a few photos and i'm sad to leave the gathering early as i've to go celebrate the one year once father's day. We wanted to dine at 'xin wang hk cafe' at anchor point, but there's too many people queuing up for a table. We ended up having dinner at the foodcourt at basement, and got my blazer from G2000 factory outlet there for only $39! Great buy!!!
To my dearest daddy, happy father's day! Thank you for all you've been through with me, from the first fall off my bike to tough teenage years where i undergo tons of stress from 'o' levels and kept complaining about going to band,to driving me to school everyday without fail,to supporting in whatever i do (driving, church, holidays, uni) You are the greatest dad!!!

My new shoes are killing me...!!! Thats the problem of being a girl...'ai mei bu yao ming'.They really hurt my ankles, toes, basically the whole of my both feet that i wanted to walk barefoot home from orchard! Went to look for woeilin at sony gallery as lihua was slightly late and she seemed a little tired...woeilin arh...must have enough rest ok? Work was ok, lunch was great today! There's a wide variety of western, fish and chips, salad, vege, hotdogs, chicken, juices, and ppl from different dept were serving us! And i think the GM was wearing an apron...it felt great, its like one big st.regis family.

Singapore shows are really....haiz...disappointing. Waiting for my lu zheng xin ren wang from yihui soon!

I finally got to feel how is it like to work in an office.I totally feel like i'm a singaporean OL! Wearing formal wear to work everyday (which is 'my style' according to shiying and woeilin), but i'm going to run out of clothes to wear to work soon...i've only got 3 skirts that fit the hotel formal category, and i dont wanna spend my money on anymore skirts when my pay hasnt reached my pocket yet. I kind of enjoy going home alone, having some time to myself to look at the buildings and scenery around me, strolling at my own pace, shopping at the supermarket in tanglin mall, and taking my own sweet time to walk home after alighting at peitong bus stop while reminiscing my childhood days.

I look forward to end of work everyday, be it to lie on my bed to watch tv (there's 'zhi fa dai yan ren' with my fave 'pak kiu' on channel u at 11!), or be it going out to enjoy after work life

monday-met up with woeilin and ah bond to catch narnia (quite a show, but pretty draggy in the beginning), and had dinner at one of my favourite place-Zingdo! Really love the chicken hotplate there, with all the vegetables..mMmm. Rushed off for supper with lance after tt, and he kept forgetting to turn on the headlamps! Danger to others and myself...opps!

tuesday-boss did not came in for work as she was on leave =)

wednesday-went for dinner at suntec with lance, and i wasnt late!!in fact, i was one min early on my time, and two mins on yours! Weijie, you caught me too last min for dinner, please try to make early appointments (preferbly 1 week in advance) if you want a date with me next time =p (was hoping to meet woeilin there but well, she happily walked herself to douby ghaut-blehs). I finally got to know how nydc's mudpie tasted like, and it was really delicious as what others have said. We both also ordered a side dish as he was complaining that the noodles at 'bie fu' wasnt filling...

thursday-i was walking myself home on the familiar roads of clementi and saw peiyin coincidentally outside the photo developing shop while i was on the phone with shiying. I left her with my phone to continue the conversation and went to draw some money to pay for the photos i intend to develop. We then spent at least a 45 min in front of the computer choosing the photos i want to develop out of the 800 plus i have in my SD card. We then went for dinner at the jap restaurant and gobbled up the last bites of our meal as we were the last ones in the shop, and they are already cleaning up the floors as we were finishing our meal...and here i am,typing this msg while watching my pak kiu fighting in court on tv...tmr is friday and to everyone who are working out there, REJOICE! tmr is friday!!! =)

Durian mochi!

Bo luo bao! This little treat is a different version of the hk one,but tastes equally delicious~!

Oh my...this tim sum really got me to love high tea.Kent and i went to this restaurant called 'hei she hui' to have lunch after tanning ourselves on the beach (i was mostly hiding myself under the shade of the tree =p) We had quite a meal! It was xiao long bao,har gao,bo luo bao,guo tie and the delicious durian mochi...I wasnt really a fan of durian, but one mouth of this desert really made me crave for more. The place had nice decor, ambience and we sat there until this pt where there are no more customers in the restaurant...haha...it seemed like we've booked the place see..weijie,is your mouth watering already? Bringing my mom to this place tmr,she seemed quite excited about it.Hahs,me too!
Been to work for the last four days,i think i'm settling in at my work, and having more conversations with my colleagues, which is a good thing. Working at St. Regis is really quite an experience...suddenly thought of the fact that i'm already working in a hotel!Hope this will somewhat help me in my future job search if i ever get into hotel line, but still, working at sentosa, serving tourists =)
Its been like one week since i came back from holidays.Missing the carefree days where i dont have to force myself to wake up early in the morning just for work.I miss holidays!!!

Vandalism could be see almost everywhere in sydney...even on signboards on expressways. These people really have nothing better to do but to spoil the image of their own city.

Hyde park!

Some church near hyde park. The architecture is really...you must see it yourself then you'll understand how i feel.

Sydney tower

Last day in sydney,hmm...i missed singapore, but still, wasnt really eager to leave the place. Its been a wonderful and fruitful trip, living everyday there with new things to learn, see and enjoy.okay...his self take photos are all angled nicely, managing to take much of the background pictures with our faces in it. =) The last few hours in sydney was spent strolling around in this park in the city.Tired, but feeling quite reluctant to leave actually...i was too tired to show that i guess.A sudden fear came over me when i realised that i have to take a plane back to singapore alone. It wasnt exciting like when i came over alone then.
The holiday has been the most memorable holiday, thank you dad for sponsoring me for the trip and i know that my family misses me even they dont say so.Thank you lance for picking me up at the airport and bringing me for supper, thank you weijie for wanting to meet up with me ever since i came back. Last but not least, thank you wen haw...for everything.

what we could have been, 2:11 PM.

Sun yan zi!!! She's famous!!really...'we are one singapore, one nation strong and free...' okok...dont condemn me!

This was dinner after all the seafood...oh my god.I'm really...really full.I love steamboat though.Especially in such a cold climate condition, having a hot bowl of soup,or steamboat seems to be the best one could every ask for.

Abalone we see back at home are normally from cans without any shells, and only on chinese new year then we are generous enough to open a can to enjoy with family, but here,i'm already living a splendid and luxurous life!My parents are so gonna think...'my daughter sure knows how to enjoy her life'.I miss them...yet they both seemed that they dont want me back home..keep asking me to stay longer there...Blehs!

Are you envy of me!?Hahas...i myself dont believe that i'm able to taste so many different delicacies at one meal.Lobsters, abalone, oysters, fish and chips,jellyfish...oh my god. What a life! It was the most filling meal i had over there i guess. Its pretty overwhelming to see all these seafood at a relatively reasonable price all at once. I've always wanted to see how lobster with cheese would taste like...mmm..finally..

Look at all the oysters!I wonder how will they dispose of so many of them if they werent sold. hmmm...

what we could have been, 1:29 PM.

Sydney tower between the statue.

This is their casino, which i didnt manage to get in without my passport. =(

Crumpler looks good on him dont you think?Okay...this 150 dollar bag will look good on anyone...

Coles-their leading supermarket which we went shopping at for a couple of times.I found out that i really enjoy shopping around in supermarkets and looking at the various products on the shelves...very interesting to me.This reminds me of once,we bought some vegetables and wild mushrooms and made ourselves a healthy dinner, and as i ate the salad,i was falling asleep! But looking at the time on my handphone,it was only 9.30pm...i'm like...a bit blur, feeling sleepy, then dear wen haw sort of reminded me that i was looking at singapore time 9.30,and it was already 11.30pm in sydney.hahs.What a blunder!

Some random picture, but with a big cheery smile...say cheese! =)

Again,i forgot to take a picture before we indulge ourselves with this japanese meal. The food...mmm...delicious.I guess i could push myself further in eating sashimi and raw food after this trip.

Sydney entertainment centre where concerts are held.
