Being a typical singaporean with the 'customer is always right' attitude, i'm pleased to say that service in singapore aren't tt bad afterall. The past week has been busy for me, packing myself full of dates before i begin my new job. On wednesday, i had to go down to mazda service centre to check out whats the problem with my i/u in the car as it wasnt working. Given that i was a walk-in customer, i had to wait in line before others-that wait was a prolonged 3 hour wait!!! Thankfully for customer-service, i had a nice air-conditioned lounge to sit in, with tv (although they had only channel news asia on for the 3 hours i was there), biscuits, drink and magazines. The customer service officer were all very helpful and polite, and offer the best suggestion for my car. After the wait, disappointingly there was nothing wrong with the wire in the car connecting the i/u, and they dont offer the service of changing the thing for me. Seriously, i was a little bit pissed-made me wait for nothing!!! arghhh...but there was this man who helped me call up viacom to ask if they could do it for me, and thankfully the answer was a yes. =) The gesture of going the extra mile made my wasted morning a little more pleasant.
Went to celebrate joyce's belated birthday at hard rock cafe on wednesday, and the waiters were pretty attentive and served us with the casual and fun attitude. Good, but not great yet...however, i just love the atmosphere there with loud music, and i can speak loudly...muhaha.
Starhub-changing my internet service provider, and needed the help of the customer service officers. Proud to say that they all tried all they can to offer the best for what i need. This guy which i sought for help at the branch at vivo city even helped me to get the best promotion, where i can enjoy free internet with just renewing my cable contract! That is great news to me!!! Anyways...i'm still waiting for it to be activated, hope that it'll happen real soon. =)
