Wednesday-10th dec. The 3 of us headed off to batam for our break-away from the bustling city, away from smses, phone calls, and excessive checking of e-mails. I totally needed this getaway-clear my mind of stuff, to relax, live life again. We brought magazines, newspapers, and even readers' digest.
This is one of the shopping malls we went to in batam..Nothing much to shop there though, but we did enjoy ourselves very much at A&W...hahas =)
Ahhh...memories of the past. Root beer float, waffle with ice-cream and curly fries..
My sis and i used to love this hotdog at A&W. Ever since the restaurant left singapore, we never got to taste it again...=( But! Dear sis, i manage to devour this beautiful little thing on your behalf, so...enjoy the picture!
We went to enjoy ourselves at the ktv lounge they have there. And well, they have quite a wide variety of songs for us to choose from! I love the fruit punch! The glass they use to hold the drink, with a stirrer and a little slice of orange on the side...my kind of life. =)
Opps...i actually left our card key in the ktv room when we left. Thank goodness the staff kept the key for us. Thank god!
Dinner was beef bolognaise pasta for me. Loved it! The presentation of the food was great, just like a five star restaurant dish. The waiter was patient with us, and the smile on his face never fails to keep my spirit up although its late in the night. Even though we only ordered 2 dishes, he
still served us each a bun. Thats service. Being flexible and making your guest feel at home and welcomed. =) Service-5 Stars!

Here we are..at golden prawn 933 seafood place in batam for our most awaited seafood meal ever since we came here. I've been here last year, and boy, I most certaintly remember that i stuff myself with a hell lot of food-they are just so deliciously cheap and nice.
My favourite!!! Fried prawns!!! Arghhh....my mouth is watering already...
You can only get such cheap seafood in batam i tell you. We had 5 dishes, 3 drinks and keropok for only 31 SGD!!! Value for money =)

Oh...this picture. Our cab driver took this for us after the meal. He was one patient driver, drove us to our destinations fast, safe, and at the most reasonable cost.
Breakfast was sumptous. Eggs and coffee were served. Mmm...

A couple of things i bought at batam-J.co doughnuts (sounds a little crazy, but they costs much lesser there!), got 5 vcds at $30++, polo t for my sis, coin purse for mom, should have added in A&W...
