Hmm...yesterday was indeed a day to remember.Went to watch wallace and gromit in the afternoon,then received a call from woeilin saying that it is raining heavily.*aww* Actually planned to go marina to eat steamboat...then change of plans.I was talking bout weijie buying a cute tortise keychain,then i saw her n zihao.What a coincidence! Then met up with aiping n woeilin...haha.As we were walking along citylink,we decided to get this cute bone shaped spectacle box for her and put the mini tennis keychain we got for her in it.That shop super gd lar!Got free wrapping and the shopkepper wrap until very nice!
Then we went to suntec's perlini...didnt see the charmed bracelet with musical instruments.*sobs*Last day of sale liaoz!ARGHhhhhhhh...Then woeilin went to giodarno to get her new year clothings...*meanwhile* Xinyi is trying her best to keep the birthday gurl to be entertained..haha.I bought a jacket for 23 bucks...cham..spend money again!!We finally found sizzler n saw xinyi n yihui at the front of the queue...we got a seat,then decided to dine at other places.Actually aipong is supposed to tell the person one lor...in the end its still me.GRRr.
We again,dine at swensens.haha.This year almost everyone in the gang spent their birthday meals at swensens sia...After swensens,we went to candy empire at millenia walk...there are lots of candys n chocs lar!So tempting...Bought some stuff then we hurried to esplanade to book place to watch the fireworks.
In the end,we decided to go to the stairs at marina square n stone till the fireworks.We asked yihui to open her 'present' first...she seemed a bit lost n she knew that that isnt the real gift.GRrrr...smart girl.We waited,n waited, n waited...*yawns*At last...the fireworks started.It was rather abrupt though...no countdown.hmm. The fireworks was nice nice n nice!So beautiful...n it lasted for quite a while too.After that,we gave yihui her real present.She did not look surprise nor elated till...she started to filp the pgs.Haha...the look on her face when she turned to the last pg was what we all are looking for.It was the best!Happy 17th birthday to you,our dearest yihui*lucy*!
