woA...for the past two days,i've been practising full time at NIE for JC band festival.8 to 5 may seem to be very long,but in actual fact,it is rather short. First day was rather dry...games and full band rehearsal.Sight-reading was terrible i can say...pitching-difficult,fingering-challenging,stamina-noT eNouGh!On the first day while we were all waiting for the instructor,there was this man whom dressed like some air-con repairman.But alas,he was our instructor!I was so shocked larx...made a couple of friends from my section.There were 8 horn players! E-I-G-H-T!!!Not like in JJC...one and only one.Sectionals was rather ok...not as bad as i imagined.Saw couple of familiar faces like mr rasull and melissa.Being able to play in a big band again is totally wonderful.There were people to share parts with...there was a full sound.Everything seemed great.I think the people in JJCSB are getting closer together too..Thank you mr tay for letting us take part in this.Is will definitely be an unforgettable experience for me.Wow...three more days and i will be making my first performance at esplanade!How cool can that be?!I am like dreaming...wow...haha.
